The last day...

Of 5th and 2nd grade!  Today was our last official day of school - although Hannah and Patrick did not go - we just went by to pick up their report cards.  Happy to report that they both finished the year with straight A's!!  Hannah had only 3 B's all year long (here a 93-100 is an "A" and her 3 B's were 92's - which, imo, is still an "A"!) - but her yearly averages in each subject were all above 94%.  And Patrick finished the year with all E's (he made E's - equivalent to an A - all year long).  So proud of both of them!  Oh - Patrick came in second place in the 2nd grade spelling bee :)

Now I have to come to terms with having a child in middle school!!!!

We spent the day running errands - had lunch with Owen, went by the book store (took pics of the kids in the car reading the books we bought at the bookstore), the produce stand and the grocery store - now we're ready for a night at home!  Tomorrow's a day at the pool.....summer here we come!
