On the hunt

For a new Washer/Dryer....not my favorite thing to shop for...but a necessary purchase. Not that there's anything wrong with the old washer and dryer - but really - does it have to take 2 hours to dry a load of towels! Seriously....this waiting on the dryer is getting ridiculous! So....we're checking out all the new-fangled models - and colors - who knew washers/dryers came in any other color than white! Way too many choices!

Nothing else going on here this week. I need to take some pictures of the cherry tree in our front yard - it's in FULL BLOOM - hard to believe it was covered in snow and ice 3 weeks ago! I just love the look of that tree with all it's white/pink flowers against the dark green of the holly bushes and the green fescue lawn. When we bought the house the tree wasn't in bloom but when we returned about 5 weeks later to move in the tree put on a show for us! A few years ago I did a layout about the tree and it's "snowflakes":

Those blooms really do look like snowflakes when they lay against the green grass :) When you stand under the tree you can hear all the bees buzzing around!
